Nestled

This shingle style, Cape Cod home took the place of a long time summer family cabin located on a small quiet lake west of Omaha. Our clients wanted to be able to enjoy the quite solitude and beauty of living and entertaining on the lake year round.

The home is designed to be small enough that they were comfortable when it was just the two of them, yet have an open, flowing interior with several exterior French doors leading to the lake when they entertained guests.

The interior feel might best be described as "relaxed formality". Stone flooring is used outdoors as well as in high traffic areas near exterior doors. The guest bedroom tower, complete with grandkids’ sleeping loft, provides a beacon to draw you to the home as you drive down the lane.
